Beauty is Spirituality

Hey there,

Remember when I left you hanging about which career path I'd choose between my current employer and the freelance client itching to bring me on board permanently?

Well, I've made my decision, and it's not just about the paycheck.

Let me take you back to a dream I had while spending the new year in Miami.

As I slept, the breeze wafted in through the open balcony doors blurring the lines between indoors and outdoors, inviting a myriad of spirits to speak to me in my dreams.

Among their whispers, one phrase stood out: "beauty is spirituality."

At first, I didn't give it much thought. I never considered myself someone who practices beauty.

But as I juggled these two roles, its significance grew. You see, our time here is finite.

In Spanish, we ask new acquaintances, "¿A qué te dedicas?"— which asks “What do you do for a living?” but that literally translates to "What do you dedicate yourself to?"

It's a profound question, challenging us to view work as more than just a means to a paycheck but as a dedication to a higher purpose.

So, I finally made my decision!

I chose the path that allows me to create beautiful, sensual experiences and content that elevate and inspire—the freelance opportunity that not only pays more but also aligns with my spiritual values.

This marks a pivotal moment in my career.

For the past decade, I've dedicated myself to learning and honing my skills, often making financial sacrifices along the way. But now, I'm ready to put those skills to use and carve out my place in the world.

I'm reminded of a quote by philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein: "The limits of my language are the limits of my world." By exploring different languages and cultures, we gain new perspectives and insights into the human experience.

Through the act of transliterating "¿A qué te dedicas?" and examining its underlying meaning, we uncover a profound truth about the nature of work and dedication.

So, I invite you to ponder alongside me: What do you dedicate yourself to? And how can you infuse more beauty and spirituality into your work and daily life?

Let those questions marinate in your mind.

And feel free to share your insights with me.

If you’re into soul-searching and wisdom, then stay tuned. In my next story, I'll be opening up about the challenges of being a lifelong learner.

Plus, we'll explore the profound insights hidden within the Spanish language, shedding light on our journey of self-discovery and personal branding.

Keep an eye on your inbox for this next deep dive. It's going to be enlightening, I promise!

Catch you later,
